May 20th

Friday May 20th. 2005

WOW!
Tomorrow I will turn 40.
Do I feel 40?...No
I used to think of a 40 year old man as someone with grey hair, wrinkles, skinny, etc. Maybe what I am going to look like when I'm 50.
Over the hill?...I doubt it.
Just starting up a new hill actually.
I was just thinking about my childhood friends yesterday at the diner table. We used to fantasize and imagine ourselves as grown ups. (At that time-grown ups to us were the 20 year olds)...and now, we're all grown, with careers, kids, jobs, divorces, deaths, sadness, happiness, and all those things that go with life.
So, 40 years old
Keep them coming!

Everybody Loves Raymond-Final Episode

Can you see the love in Debra's eyes while Raymond is eating ice cream in bed?....(If you saw the final episode you'll know what I'm talking about)
That is what I would call love. (Even though it is all fake)... She portrays it really good.
It isn't easy to fake love. That is why it is so hard to tell someone that you love them as well. When you do and you know it, you feel it, it just comes out of you-Even without saying it.

That is why girls smack you at the movie theaters or while watching movies at home. Because you don't look at them that way!
The way that Tom Hanks or other macho star looks at his wife or girlfriend and just says, "I will always love you" and then goes and faces the biggest and worst evil ever in Hollywood.
Why do girls buy into that?

Anyways, next time you are with your girlfriend or wife, Tell them you love them.
Tell them you appreciate their presence and everything they do for you.
Tell them life will be almost meaningless without them.
Or that at least they make you happy.
